In 2008, God planted the desire to help Anson County in the heart of founder, Priscilla Nunn. Ms. Nunn saw the condition of her home county reflected in her old neighborhood … friends and family unemployed and struggling to “make ends meet”. Ms. Nunn heard that this was not where they wanted to be but where they landed. If jobs were available and they had transportation they would work. Some regretted not finishing school and getting caught in the textile days of plenty. They recognized that even with jobs available and transportation, they would be at a disadvantage. Hope of getting beyond their current circumstance was not present.

Anson County Community Economic Support Services, Community Development Corporation (ACCESS CDC) was established in 2011 to share God’s plan of hope and a future.
